  • James Kempema MD, FACEP

    DEVELOPER

    James is Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in both EMS as well as Emergency Medicine. He is a practicing physician in a busy, urban, Level 1 Trauma Center in Austin, Texas, as well as a core faculty member and EMS Director for the University of Texas - Austin / Dell Medical School Emergency Medicine Residency. Outside of the hospital, he works as the Medical Director for Travis County STAR Flight and multiple Travis County Emergency Service Districts.

    In his free time, James enjoys skiing, hiking, photography, and woodworking.

  • Marlynn Kempema RN, CEN

    PRODUCT MANAGER

    Marlynn has over 30 years of nursing experience. She studied nursing in Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1993. She is experienced in both emergency medicine and obstetrical care, and currently works at Ally Medical as a Certified Emergency Nurse. She has extensive experience in nursing education and currently functions as a TNCC national instructor. She also teaches for the RN Residency Program at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas.

    Marlynn is passionate about nursing and education. When she is not working at the hospital, you can find her managing her three teenage boys, training for her next marathon, or ice climbing in Colorado.

  • Grant Kitlowski

    SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

    Grant is currently studying Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. Grant loves nothing more than building products and seeing them helping others.

    Outside of Pedi STAT, Grant is currently developing software to offset carbon emissions by getting ranch owners involved in the voluntary carbon market. In his free time, he’ll be playing with his CNC machine, at a gym somewhere, or wake surfing on the lake.

  • Gracyn Applegate

    DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

    Gracyn is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Advertising and minor in Business. She has served various companies in marketing roles and enjoys making the dreams of her brands come to fruition.

    Outside of school, Gracyn is a professional photographer who specializes in portraits and weddings. She enjoys traveling, all things fitness, the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys, and exploring all that Austin has to offer.

  • Adis Keric, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP

    PHARMACIST

    Dr. Keric received his pharmacy doctorate from North Dakota State University. He is currently a clinical pharmacist in the Emergency Department of a large, Level I trauma center located in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has over 10 years of clinical pharmacy experience, including completing both a PGY-1 pharmacy residency and a PGY-2 critical care pharmacy residency, along with holding board certification in Critical Care Pharmacy. He serves as a preceptor for rotating pharmacy residents, pharmacy students, and Emergency Medicine residents in the Emergency Department.
